When: October and April, date and time to be posted.

Where: Jackson County Health Department, 1697 Lansing Avenue, Jackson.
(Enter the front driveway off Lansing Avenue.)

Cost: $5.00 per vehicle.

Sponsored By: The Jackson County Health Department and Recycling Jackson.

• turpentine
• mineral spirits
• oil and lead-based paint
• pesticides
• herbicides
• insecticides
• brake fluid
• transmission fluid
• antifreeze
• cleaners
• caustics
• solvents
• flammable liquids
• household batteries
• items containing mercury
• motor oil
• propane cylinders
• road flares
  

Products Not Accepted:

• latex paint
• business/farm materials
• infectious waste
• radioactive material
• gasoline containers
• smoke alarms
• explosives
• car-vehicle batteries.
  

(tip for latex paint: fill what's left of the can with kitty litter, let it dry out, and throw it in the trash.)
